Abstract :
This report reviews a longstanding cervicogenic headache patient and the use of cooled radiofrequency ablation of cervical median branch block as a treatment modality. A 50-year-old female patient was suffering from intermittent dull aching pain in occipital, temporal and cervical region for 20years. She underwent cooled radiofrequency ablation of unilateral right sided 3rd occipital nerve (C2/3 facet joint) with minimal or no side effects and significant pain reduction at 24 hours of follow up following sustained pain relief up to 12weeks.
